It is Now Legal to Own and Use Cannabis Oil at Home in South Africa!

South Africa is buzzing now that it is legal to use, grow and own cannabis (or dagga or marijuana or pot) at home. Chief Justice Raymond Zondo said on Tuesday 18 September that the use, cultivation and possession of cannabis is decriminalised when used privately at home. The Constitutional Court ruled that using cannabis in private at home is now permitted. The World is Waking up to Legalising Cannabis Oil The South African Parliament now has two years in which to amend these acts and to clarify the boundaries around the use of cannabis in private at home. If privacy extends beyond the home, which is what Zondo said, then how far does this private space extend? What are the boundaries for growing cannabis and using it at home? Cannabis Oil Side Effects – Do They Exist?

It is important to remember that cannabis oil may have minimal side effects. If these do indeed exist, they are far fewer than any of the damaging side effects of pharmaceutical drugs. There is no over-processing of the fresh product so what you get is the direct effect of a plant on  your body. We only supply natural and organic products which ensures that side effects, if any, are absolutely minimal. If side effects from cannabis oil do exist, they are […]

Update on South African Cannabis Legislation

And while the nation awaits the Constitutional Court’s decision around the ownership, use and cultivation of cannabis, many South Africans are dabbling in cannabis anyway. The South African cannabis legislation is in limbo. Citizens are daily caught and charged with possession of cannabis because there is no finality on a few clauses in the law. Invalid Sections in South African Drug Legislation The Western Cape High Court ruled last year that some sections of the Drugs and Drug Trafficking Act, and the Medicines Act, are not valid. These sections need to be revised as it is not fair to ban the use of cannabis by adults in their private homes. Once the Constitutional Court has decided that these clauses are indeed invalid, then adults will be allowed to grow, own and use cannabis in the privacy of their own […]
